RealtyDecode Research Team
RealtyDecode Research publishes data-driven investigations of the Houston and broader Texas housing market. We are a small team of data engineers and market analysts who built and operate the RealtyDecode data pipeline.
How we work
Every figure we publish is computed from aggregated Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) MLS data that our pipeline collects, geocodes, and refreshes daily. We never publish individual listings, street addresses, agent identities, or any personally identifiable information — only aggregate statistics across many transactions.
Each story carries a verification ledger mapping every claim back to the exact metric file and field that produced it. Our full method is documented in our methodology.
Editorial standards
- Aggregate-only publication; small samples are suppressed to avoid noise.
- Apples-to-apples comparisons: core residential home types, complete months only.
- Headline vs. underlying view on every story — we surface the contradiction.
- Every call carries a grading window so we can be held accountable.
